I realize I haven’t written in a VERY long time. For those of you that know me, I’ve just been slammed. I had a hiatus from the freelance world for a few months to catch up on some financial things. Then came my son’s 1st birthday and a much needed vacation. So with all that behind me now, I’m looking forward to revamping my schedule, processes, websites (including this one), and getting back on path.
Recognizing God in Our Adversity
So I realize I haven’t posted in like forever, work has me swamped right now so the blog has to take a backseat because, let’s face it, I’d rather be able to eat.
BUT I wanted to post a link to a book that my sister just published. It would be totally awesome if you bought it and helped her out and I really think that you will get a lot out of it as well. Also, leave a review on here and on Amazon. Thanks for reading and I promise I’ll start this blog up again someday soon. All for HIM!

Designing Ourselves
What would you put in the artwork if you did a design about yourself? What elements would you use to represent you? Would there be money, fame, or cars? Or would you use words like kind, caring, or motivated to identify your personality?
I was thinking about this the other day as I was working. It occurred to me that I am finally becoming the type of person with the type of life that I would feel proud in designing. Or rather if someone else designed out an image of my life, I feel confident that they would do so in a way that I would want to show others. All this is because of my relationship with Jesus.
Setting Mobile Browser Width
I recently came across a problem when I was working on a mobile site. It took me forever to find a forum that finally answered my question. So I thought I would write an uber-quick post to hopefully help anyone out there that just needs this tiny script.
How to Lead Someone to Christ
While there are 17.8 million ways(approx.
) to lead a person to Christ, I’m going to tackle one of those today. I realize this is off my James study but I felt inclined to do this instead and I’m learning more and more to listen to my heart, which I believe is mostly the Holy Spirit talking. Anyways, this was a sermon at my church, Cana Baptist (trying to work something out for a new site), given by our pastor, Charles Stewart. I really felt compelled to share it with everyone on here in hopes that it helps you as much as it has helped me. So let’s begin.
James 1:26-27
Today will be our last look at James chapter 1. But not to worry, there are 4 more chapters in this book and all of them have just as much if not more insight into how we should live as Christians in today’s world. I did skip a few verses in this chapter (23-25) that could be tired pretty closely to my previous post. Feel free to read over them and post your comments. So anyway, today we are going to be touching on the subject of religion. I know, this entire blog is about religion right? Well, in a way, but it’s more about a lifestyle. Being a Christian can be a religion for some people, but for me, and from what I get out the Bible, it’s a lifestyle. The term religion is applied very loosely in our culture today. Alright, lets dive in.
The Letter of James 1:19-22
As we move through the first chapter of James, we can see how God has given James His inspired Word to help mold us into the people we are supposed to be. I truly believe this is the work of the ultimate designer in our lives and that if we follow the teachings as He has given them, we will have the glorious Christian life that He has promised us.
The Letter of James – Chapter 1:12-18
So onto part 2 of our series on the Letter of James.

The Letter of James – Chapter 1:2-8
Well I’m excited to say that this is going to be by first post with my new vision for this site. I’ll be tweaking the navigation and things over the next few weeks and getting the structure setup how it should work with the new type of content. So bear with me and please please give you comments if you have anything that would add to the site. There’s a section for feedback or you can leave a comment on a post. Also, feel free to critique me if you feel I’m wrong on something, it’s all just what I feel so the only absolute truth here is God’s Word. I hope you enjoy and let’s get started!
A Bit of Change
I realize that I just started this blog about a month ago and I’m already slacking off on the writing for it. I really want to write an article everyday or at least every few days but time has gotten away from me. Therefore, I’ve decided to change my focus just a bit on what I’m writing about. Continue reading at the link below and leave your comments to let me know what you think.
